The impact of the coronavirus is affecting people all over the world. It’s not only affecting those infected but other people and businesses as well. Fundraising is a great way to raise funds to help out at this time.

As a custom sign shop or custom printer, you can help in this area. You can offer to set up fundraising stores to raise money for diffent needs. This gesture can help others while keeping your business afloat during this trying time.

Check out some of these needs and suggestions of how you offer a helping hand:

Living expenses: There are people who are unable to afford their basic living expenses at this time. Suggestion: Connect with organizations that raise funds to help people with limited income or that are laid off during this time.

Small business support: Many businesses are struggling right now. Either their doors are required to be closed, or business is slowed due to health concerns. Suggestion: Connect with businesses that are struggling. You can create fun custom t-shirts or tote bags that customers can buy to show their support while they are mandated to stay in their homes.

Churches: Churches have low or no attendance now, but still have overhead. Suggestion: Connect with churches and offer to help with a fundraiser. An online fundraising portal with custom faith-based t-shirts, pens, totes and/or cards can bring in the funds they need to pay their utilities.

Politicians: In-person political candidate fundraising events are canceled right now. However, can candidates still need to raise funds and awareness. Suggestion: Offer to set up a fundraising webstore so they can sell lawn signs and t-shirts. The can supply candidates with a stream of support during this time.

Be creative. This is the time to think outside the box. You provide hope for others while keeping your business running while social distancing.
