Marketing Assistant

We’re looking for an enthusiastic marketing assistant to join our marketing department here at shopVOX! This is a part-time 1099 position.

As a marketing assistant, you’ll assist the marketing department in our advertising and promotional efforts. If marketing is in your blood, you’ll fit right in with our team!

- Passionate about marketing with a solid understanding of market trends and techniques

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- All-around tech-savvy - proficiency with word processing, online tools, various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them

- Organization and time management skills

- Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to details

-Familiarity with graphic design concepts and software such as Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software is a plus (but not required)

- Familiarity with the graphics industry such as signage, apparel, and print shops is a plus (but not required)

- Familiarity with SEO is a plus (but not required)

- Ability to work remotely

- Support the Marketing Director with daily administrative tasks

- Assist with marketing and advertising projects such as building social/mail/web campaigns, creating content, updating the marketing website, and managing social media accounts

- Design and present social media campaign ideas

- Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content

- Write blogs and content for the marketing website

- Assist in website management, updating content and images using the CMS

- Perform market research and provide analysis on the latest trends and competitor strategies

- Help organize marketing events


Our entire team works remotely - so you can work from the comfort of your home office. As long as you're an effective communicator and you’ve got a fast, reliable internet connection - we’re all good.

Compensation: This is a part-time 1099 contractor position

- Competitive pay based on experience
- Part-time (20-25 hours per week)
